THE FISHER KING: BOOK OF THE FILM If there's one treasure you should own (besides the film itself) it's this book. It includes the entire original screenplay by Richard LaGravenese, with deleted and alternate scenes. There's interviews with the cast, an introduction by director Terry Gilliam, and over two hundred photographs! The best companion piece to the dvd. This is NOT a novelisation (see below).

THE USE OF ARTHURIAN LEGEND IN HOLLYWOOD FILM: FROM CONNECTICUT YANKEES TO FISHER KINGS The hefty price tag has kept me away from this serious look at Arthurian themes found in films. Judging from the title, I assume there must be a section written on The Fisher King.
