I don't own this book. Because it's a novelisation, it isn't high on my list. If someone has read this reverse-adaptation by Leonore Fleischer, please send me a review, and I'll happily include it on the site, giving you credit, of course.

Put together by Bob McCabe, this is a great book that provides a nice, and often detailed, overview of Terry Gilliam's career as both an animator for Monty Python and in cinema (up to Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas). Littered with images, many unavailable anywhere else, I can definitely recommend making this purchase.

GILLIAM ON GILLIAM

This book reads as one long interview, spanning Gilliam's entire life and film career (up until the late 1990s). Very thorough, very readable, and very enlightening.

POCKET ESSENTIALS: TERRY GILLIAM

One of the many books written about Terry Gilliam. This provides a quick retrospective of Terry Gilliam's films.



			THE USE OF ARTHURIAN LEGEND IN HOLLYWOOD FILM: FROM CONNECTICUT YANKEES TO FISHER KINGS The hefty price tag has kept me away from this serious look at Arthurian themes found in films. Judging from the title, I assume there must be a section written on The Fisher King.
